Position available:

• Ayurvedic Chef or Sous Chef

Jade Seahorse is a mindful establishment searching for an organized, caring and passionate Ayurvedic Chef or Sous Chef. We welcome experienced as well as beginners with a true passion for healthy living.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Menu creation and development. Design new menu choices based on seasonal ingredients.

2. Establish and maintain positive relationship with vendors.

3. Management of kitchen staff including hiring, training and development, progressive coaching, discipline, and team building.

4. Oversee cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, and storage areas.

5. Oversee daily operations including ordering, receiving, prep, service and inventory.

6. Train and educate FOH employees on menu and general food-related content.

7. Work closely with our GM to ensure overall success.

Position Requirements:

1. Current passport, the ability to travel and a desire to relocate to a tropical location.

2. Sous Chef and kitchen management experience.

3. High level of creativity and reliability.
